เมื่อวันที่ ๑๘ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๕๘ นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เดินทางมาเข้ารับหน้าที่ที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์สืบแทนนายกฤต ไกรจิตติ ซึ่งเกษียณอายุราชการ โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ มีกำหนดเข้าเฝ้าฯ สมเด็จพระราชาธิบดีแห่งมาเลเซียเพื่อถวายพระราชสาส์นตราตั้งจากพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวและเริ่มปฏิบัติหน้าที่อย่างเป็นทางการในฐานะเอกอัครราชทูตวิสามัญผู้มีอำนาจเต็มแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทยประจำมาเลเซียในวันที่ ๑๘ มีนาคม ๒๕๕๘

 

On 18 February 2015, H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador-Designate arrived in Kuala Lumpur to take up his duty, succeeding H.E. Mr. Krit Kraichitti, who retired last year. The Ambassador-Designate is scheduled to be granted an audience with H.M. the Yang di-Pertuan Agong for the presentation of the Letters of Credence from H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej to be officially recognized as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Malaysia on 18 March 2015.
